could keep diabetes away!

A study conducted in 2015 found that men who ate 4 eggs per week had a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes than those who ate about 1 egg a week.

Another study took 29 patients with type 2 diabetes to consume breakfasts with the same amount of calories containing
either an egg or a bowl of oatmeal for 5 weeks. After 3 weeks, they were assigned to alternate the breakfast for 5 weeks.

After 13 weeks there weren’t extensive differences in blood glucose or blood lipid levels. It turned out that both
were equally good. The markers for chronic inflammatory processes however were significantly reduced when these patients ate an egg a day.
