The Wolma team assisted Doxa Deo Brooklyn Campus at the first ever Street Store in Pretoria on the 24th of November. The idea behind this initiative was to offer homeless people an opportunity to “shop”.
The church collected clothes and created a beautiful set up on the day. Each person was escorted through the store, where they received a hotdog, some Oros and 2 eggs on their way out.
This was a very humbling experience for the team, and we are already brainstorming for an even bigger Street Store in 2019.
